A military warrant officer is a specialised rank in the armed forces. They are a bridge between enlisted personnel and line officers. Warrant officers are subject matter experts in specific areas such as aviation, intelligence, engineering, medical and administration. There are over 240 warrant officer specialties in Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. The Space Force does not currently have a warrant officer commissioning program.
